“YOU CAN'T THINK ABOUT IT. YOU JUST HAVE TO DO IT”—TEENAGER ALLEGEDLY DRIVES HER BOYFRIEND INTO COMMITTING SUICIDE

A teen from Plainville, Massachusetts, USA, Michelle Carter, 18, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly pressuring Conrad Roy III, 18, of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, into killing himself.

“YOU can't think about it. You just have to do it. You said you were gonna do it. Like I don't get it why you aren't,” Michelle allegedly wrote to Roy the day he parked his truck outside a Fairhaven Kmart and killed himself.

When Roy hesitated in committing suicide Michelle expressed her disappointment and encouraged him more by texting him,
“You always say you're gonna do it, but you never do. I just want to make sure tonite is the real thing.”

Michelle even messaged him that if the carbon monoxide poisoning did not kill him he should 'try the bag or hanging.'

The prosecutors further argued that after Roy killed himself Michelle pretended not to know his whereabouts by texting his sister,“Do you know where your brother is?

Counsels to Michelle have ardently denied that she pressured Roy into killing himself and prayed the Judge to kickout the case.

The two met about 2 years ago when they visited relatives in Florida and kept in touch afterwards through text messages and email, upon returning to Massachusetts.

So what do u think?
Is this a case of an innocent but expensive joke gone wrong or a desire to have Roy dead?
Should Michelle be held responsible for Roy's death?
