NEXUS, SAMSUNG, OTHERS TO GET MARSHMALLOW UPDATES


Since Google officially announced its next generation Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS android users around the world have been eagerly anticipating when their phone manufacturers will start rolling out updates once the OS is officially released.

As its tradition,  Google will release new 2015 Nexus devices (Nexus 5, Nexus 6, and Nexus 9) with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preloaded,  first. These devices have been on
marshmallow preview are expected to drop into the market soon. 

Good news for Samsung users also as Samsung has become one of the first android manufacturers to confirm which smartphones and tablets will receive an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. 

The Samsung smartphones and tablets to receive the upgrades are;
-Galaxy Note 5
-Galaxy S6
-Galaxy S6 Edge
-Galaxy S6 Edge+
-Galaxy Note Duos 
-Note 4
-Note 4 Duos
-Note Edge
-Galaxy Alpha
-Galaxy Tab A

For now,  no word has been said whether Galaxy S5 will get the marshmallow update. 

Also,  the new HTC handset models like HTC One M8, One M9 and One M9+ will also have Android 6.0 update. 

Other devices expected to receive Android 6.0 updates include LG's generation of flagship–G2, G3, and G4.

There is no doubt that other phone manufacturers are also planning to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their devices ones it is officially released by Google.
