5 SIMPLE REASONS ANDROID BEATS iPHONE 6S AND 6S PLUS(Part 1)

Apple's iPhone 6s and 6s plus are two of the most expensive phones you can get now. No wonder both phones generate a lot of press and attention. But if we were to look at the smartphones sold recently we will see that most run the Android operating system. The reason is not far fetched as we are going to see in this article.

1. You pay less money for more storage on Android.

That iPhone 6s and 6s plus are costly do not make them have larger storage space. The starting prices of iPhone 6s and 6s plus are $649 and $749 respectively but have 16GB of internal memory. And by the time you deduct the size of iOS 9 which is 1.3GB,the 12.MP pictures that you'll take, the 4K videos that you'll shoot, your  downloaded music collection and the few download  games that you may have,  you'll see you have just some little space left in your device.  16GB is really not a big size for many smartphone users and as such you have to pay another $100 to the starting price in order to get 64GB of storage.

Unlike iPhone, most Android devices are cheaper and now have atleast 32GB  internal storage and also come with a micro SD slot that allows you to add more storage capacity with the use of memory cards.

2. Freedom of App Installation

Even though the Apple Store for iPhone gets some apps first before any Android store, that does not mean you can easily install apps  from Apple. This is as a result of Apple being the only store for iPhone apps and also forcing you through its tightly controlled app store.

Google also has its Playstore for Android devices but yet allows competition from other stores like Getjar, Amazon, Slide ME, F-Droid etc.

3. A Brilliant and Working File System.

Unlike what is obtainable on Android devices, you cannot easily copy or move files from your iphones to your PC unless you install iTunes and setup an account. And what can you move? Just media files and photos.

On Android, just plug your phone into your PC and simply drag and drop any file or folder that you like. You can even use file managers of your choice like ES file manager among many others

4. UNIVERSAL SHARING

You can basically share to any service on your android as long as the app that support the service is installed,  like WhatsApp, Twitter, Google+,  Facebook etc. Google or any browser maker does not need to give you any special permissions to an app for it to show up in the sharing menu.

Can you try that on iPhones?  Nah!!! You can only share to the apps that the browser, photo gallery, or other apps specifically support.

5. Back Button

You have back button  that enables you to return to a previous screen no matter where you are and the button also work across apps. On the other hand, on iPhone, you use the app specific navigation or hit the home button to end up on the home screen.

Other  reasons why android beats iPhone 6s nd 6s plus include:
— Higher resolution screen on Android especially on the high end ones,
— Ability to customize,  add widgets and skins on Android,
— More hardware options on Android
— Multi windows support on Android  especially on the high end ones etc.

The next part of this article will examine reasons iPhone beats Android
