On November 10, 2015, Microsoft released an update for Windows 10 called Threshold 2, Fall Update, or simply version 1511 (10.0.10586.0). This upgrade has new interesting features like;
—An updated color scheme
—Improved Context Menu
—Installing Apps to External Storage
—Disabling The Windows Sign-in Screen Background
—Start Menu Improvements
—And many more.
The problem is not most people whose PC runs Windows 10 got this upgrade and some who got the upgrade are yet to install it successfully. Therefore,a better way is to upgrade is manually through Microsoft Media Creation Tool.
- Download the Media Creation Tool
2. Right click on the MCT.exe file downloaded and Run as Administration
3. Follow the on screen instructions and be patient as the Windows 10 1511 update is downloaded. After the download, watch until your PC is fully upgraded to Windows 10 Threshold 2
