HOW TO ROOT THE NEW INFINIX NOTE 2

This is good news, as you can now root your new Infinix Note 2, whether it is of the 1GB RAM or the 2GB RAM version( although the 2GB RAM version is yet to be released in some countries). The process is very simple and this guide will assist you all the way.

Requirements:

1.PC with SP Flash tool installed
Download Sp Flash tool from here

2. Philz Recovery Img for Infinix Note 2.  Download Here

3.SuperUser zip file(Update.zip). Download Here

4. Genuine phone to PC USB cord.

PROCEDURE

1. Launch the SP Flash tool on your PC, click on scatter loading and load the scatter file of the extracted philz recovery Img.
2. Flash the recovery img by selecting download only, then connect your switched off Note 2 device to your PC via the USB cord.
3. With the superuser zip file(Update.zip) already copied into your SD card, boot your device into recovery mode by holding down volume up key + power button.
4. Navigate to “Install zip”, then select the update.zip file.
5. Reboot your device after completion.
