SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 LIKELY RELEASE DATE + KEY SPECS

Rumor has it that Galaxy S7 will be unveiled during the upcoming MWC 2016 that will be held in Barcelona, Spain, and that some new and key features which will endear lovers of the S series more are to be introduced into the flagship.


Some of the new features are;

USB Type-C for Fast Charging 

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will come with the much hyped USB Type-C port, and this will enable the device to have a full day's charge on your phone in just about 30 minutes or less.

MicroSD Option 

In order to make the series look more premium like Apple's iPhone Samsung made Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge to be without the option of microSD, a decision which many users of the device think not to be cool. Well, that's likely to change in the Galaxy S7. The rumor now is that the S7 will come with an option of microSD. This is no doubt a good news.

3D Touch Feature

The pressure- sensitive screen ,otherwise known as the 3D Touch Feature was introduced by Apple into the iPhone 6s and 6s plus, and this create a lot of buzz in the smartphone industry.

Now, Samsung is apparently planning to include the same technology in the upcoming Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, although there is still no idea about what this feature will be named by Samsung.

Retina Scanner 

Retina scan is another feature to be introduced in the Galaxy S7.

Retina scan is a technology that uses the unique blood vessel pattern and the retina of your eyes to secure your phone. This feature is similar to the Eyeprint ID feature available on ZTE Grand S3
