European record was broken by a farming family from South Armada, Northern Ireland, after their pedigree bull sold for £147,000
The bull named Trueman Jagger is a limousin bull weighing 1,065kg and was named after 'Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger. According to his breeder, Henry Savage, the speed of Jagger's growth had been beyond belief.
Jagger has been sold by his owner for £147,000 to a consortium of five breeders who will in turn sell his semen to buyers and other pedigree breeders
